Donald John Korenek, 64, of Alvin passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at his home. Funeral Mass is set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at St. Anthony’s
Catholic Church in Danbury. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Danbury. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 at Palms with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Donald was born January 16, 1946 in Houston, Texas to John & Lydia Jez Korenek who preceded him in death
He was an Alvin high school graduate of 1964 and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. An avid outdoorsman he loved fishing, camping & farming.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Linda & and his children, Kim Wright & husband Riff, Audra Korenek & husband Tom Kennedy, Clay Korenek & fiancé Melissa DelosSantos , grandchildren; Hannah & Hope Wright and sister; Jeannette Stanton.
Donald loved the time spent with his wife, his children & his grandchildren.
