Otilia Haro, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, in Angleton, Texas. She was born on May 15, 1939, in Mexico to Lino and Nolverta (Carlos) Haro.
Otilia was a woman of deep faith, strength, and devotion to her family. She lived a life centered on love, kindness, and service to those around her. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Gardening was Otilia’s passion, it’s where she enjoyed most of her time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lino and Nolberta (Carlos) Haro, and by her beloved husband, Rómulo Haro, and her brothers: Nicolas Haro, Mariano Haro, and Lino Haro.
She is survived by her loving family, Rómulo Haro (Maria Haro), Bruno Haro (Maria Nevares), Mariano Haro (Guadalupe Silva), Jose Luis, Otilia Inchauregui, Nolberta Haro, Adela Haro (Gerardo Mercado), Guadalupe García, Leticia García, Alejandro García, Odilon García, Maricela Vargas, Yolanda Inchauregui, José M. Inchauregui, María Haro, Janed Avila, Erika Haro, Shelby Haro, Ezequiel Haro, Marlen Haro, Joselin Haro, Martin Haro, Nayel Haro, Keren Haro, Luis Haro, Nidia Haro, Alexis Mercado, Anthony Mercado, Emily Mercado, Jaquelin Haro, Roger Haro, isaac Haro, Angel Haro and her 45 great-grandchildren, whose lives were enriched by her guidance, support, and unconditional love.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. A Rosary will be officiated by Deacon Agustin Cruz at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church officiated by Father Khoi Le. Interment will immediately follow at Angleton Cemetery.
Otilia's family finds comfort in the many memories they shared with her and in the legacy of love, faith, and compassion that she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a reunirse para el velorio el martes 16 de junio de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., en Palms Funeral Home. El diácono Agustín Cruz oficiará el rezo del Rosario a las 7:00 p. m. Se celebrará una misa de funeral el miércoles 17 de junio de 2026 a las 10:00 a. m. en la iglesia católica Most Holy Trinity, oficiada por el padre Khoi Le. El sepelio tendrá lugar inmediatamente después en el cementerio de Angleton.
La familia de Otilia encuentra consuelo en los numerosos recuerdos compartidos con ella y en el legado de amor, fe y compasión que deja tras de sí. Aunque se le extrañará profundamente, su espíritu permanecerá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la amaron.
