Donna Marie VanKirk

Donna Marie VanKirk, 89, of West Columbia, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, in her home.

Donna was born on September 23,1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Edna Mae Gates and Mervan R Keane.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed family, church, crosswords, and her cats. She was a member of Capitol Missionary Baptist Church and was known for patience, kindness, and devotion to family.

Donna is survived by her daughter Diana Dodge and husband Samuel Dodge; Grandchildren Jason Dodge and fiancé Sara Abdulaziz; Christa Mills and husband Jason Mills; Theresa Cacciola and husband Thomas Cacciola; Crystal Landeros and husband Adam Landeros; Ashley Salazar; Adrian Salazar; Great-grandchildren Athena, Amara, Barrett, Eloise, Elijah, Daniel, Joshua, Adalyne, Ember, Taylor, and Malachi. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas VanKirk; sons Michael Parks, Charles Parks and Thomas Parks; and daughter Doris Salazar.

Funeral/Visitation will be Saturday May 30th, from 2pm to 4pm at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E. Hwy. 35, Angleton TX. Burial will follow on Wednesday June 3rd at 2pm at Angleton Cemetery, 328 Cemetery Rd., Angleton Texas.
