Guadalupe Damian, Jr.

Guadalupe Damian Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and business owner, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the age of 91 in Angleton, Texas.

Born and raised in Angleton, he built a life centered around faith, family, and community. Throughout his 91 years, he was known for his hardworking spirit, devotion to his loved ones, and unwavering strength. Guadalupe dedicated 30 years of service to the City of Lake Jackson while simultaneously working as a ranch hand for Dr. Wayne Steele, where he helped maintain the ranch and was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted fan of the Houston Oilers, Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, and Houston Astros, and a dedicated Wildcat fan who especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s softball, football, and baseball games.

He leaves behind his four children: Amanda Brigham (George), Diane Martinez (Danny), Guadalupe Damian III (Mary), and Elizabeth Dominguez. Guadalupe was also a proud and loving grandfather to 15 beautiful grandchildren: Elaine Lara, Stephanie Yanez, Valerie Macias, Dolores Garcia, Debra Martinez, Denise Ramirez, Albert Peña, Chris Peña, Kimberly Cruz, Danielle Damian, Eric Lopez, Nicholas Lopez, Melody Garza, Natalie Garza, and Victor Dominguez. He is also survived by a host of 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Aurelia Damian; his beloved wife, Ruth Beatriz Damian; and his daughter, Annie Marie Damian Lopez.

He will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to those he cared for, and the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His legacy will continue to live on through the many generations of family he leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Public viewing will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Palms Funeral Home, followed by church services beginning at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Angleton. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery, with a celebration of life afterward at First Presbyterian Church of Angleton.
