Ruth K. Jadwin-Bell, 80, of Angleton passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Angleton.
Ruth was born in Clinton, Kentucky on November 24, 1929 to Clois and Ora Kaler. She was preceeded in death by her parents and first husband, John Paul Jadwin. She is survived by her husband James H. Bell; daughters, Lynn Cantu and husband Alfredo, Sandra Bowers and husband William; sons, Ken Bell and wife Sonya and Lonnie Bell; grandchildren, Alana Kaler Bailey, Olivia Nichole Cantu, Cassandra Cantu, Holly Bell, Rachel Bell, Mathew Bell, and Jamie Bell; great grand children, Jayden Marksberry, Mykayla Gordon, Addison Bell, Karrie Bell and Whitley Young.
Ruth was a member of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona, Mississippi, and attended First United Methodist Church in Angleton. She loved to knit and crochet, and she loved animals. She was full of life and liked to dance. She was also active in civic organizations, and loved to work with people. She was a grief counselor and a member of the visiting nurses organization.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will also be at Palms from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, February 15, 2010. She will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri on Friday, February 19, 2010.
