Debra “Debbie” Bromonsky Penney

Debbie Bromonsky Penney, 45 of Beaumont passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in Houston.
Debbie was born July 1, 1964 to Tommy & Betty Bromonsky in Freeport, Texas. She graduated from Angleton High School in 1982 and from Stephen F. Austin in the fall 1986 with a degree in Marketing.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Debbie loved to go camping, rafting and spending time in New Braunfels, TX. Debbie proudly served in her local community as Chairman of “Make a Wish Program,” and participated in the “Walk for life” programs. Debbie’s generous nature continues to live on as she had chosen to be an organ donor.
Debbie’s smile would light up the world and her laughter was so contagious. She was a best friend to her mother, Betty; sister, Cindy; and her sister-in-law, JoAnne. She will truly be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Penney; grandparents, Lee Roy & Milady Bromonsky and Robert McCoy Amason.
Debbie leaves behind many loved ones including her husband, Curtis Morgan Penney, Jr.; children, Jessica Davis; daughter in law, Melanie Penney; parents, Tommy & Betty Bromonsky; siblings, Ricky Bromonsky & wife JoAnne, Cynthia Bromonsky Atwell & husband Tommy; grandmother, Libbie Amason; grandchildren, James Davis, Isabella Davis, Matthew Davis and Patience Penney; nieces and nephews, Aric Bromonsky, Ashby Mapes, Taylor Bromonsky, Brett Bromonsky and Shaune Atwell.
Her family will welcome visitors to Palms Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Christian wake at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, January 11, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (1523 Main) in Danbury with Father David Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
