Noel Fielding Muse

Noel Fielding Muse, 76, of Oyster Creek passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010.

Noel was born June 24, 1933 to Noel Hayes & Vera (Beck) Muse in Mason, Texas.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working with his hands, playing dominoes, pool, dancing and especially reading his western novels and watching old western movies.

Noel is preceded in death by his parents and son, James “Jimmy” Muse.

He leaves behind many loved ones to cherish his memory, including his wife, Rita Muse; children, Regina & Bob Herrington of Brazoria, Dyan & Mark Gilbert of Bridge City, TX; step-children, Cathy & Jack Groves of Dallas, Gail & Tom Rosa of Hampton Falls, N.H., Brian Cadiero of Clute, Anthony & Leah Cadiero of Angleton; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Al Muse of Misoula, MT, Chuck & Shirley Muse and I.C. “Buster” & Betty Muse, all of Clute, Kenneth Muse of Houston and Thomas & Ethel Muse of Terlingua; sisters, Nora & Mike Smalley of Temecula, CA and Susan & Danny Roberts of El Campo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with services following at 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Roberts officiating.
