Rene Steven Rubio, 50, of Angleton passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 21, 2009 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home with a Rosary scheduled for 7:00.
Rene was born January 2, 1959 in Galveston, Texas to Reynaldo & Julia Ramirez Rubio.
He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a US Marine Veteran. An avid football fan, he loved the Vikings & the Marines, and was always the Comedian.
Survivors include his Wife; Maria Rubio, father; Reynaldo Rubio, Sons; Michael Rubio & wife Yvonne, Daniel Rubio & Cameron Rubio.
Daughers; Rocksann Rubio & Ashley Rubio.
Step-Children; Alex Maldanado & Jennifer Maldanado. Brothers; Ray Rubio & Renato Rubio & John Valdez; Sisters; Ramona Lampe (Steve), Ruby Rubio, Rita Rubio and 8 Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Rubio, Robert Gonzales, Manuel Morin, Aaron Tam, Matthew Gonzales, Scott Thomas & Jasen Jones.
