Estiban “Steve” Garcia, 65 of Danbury, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010.

He was born November 28, 1944 in Angleton, Texas to Thomas and Jesusa Juarez Garcia.
Estiban was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus. He served in the United States Army and enjoyed being a part of veteran organizations. Estiban was a wonderful and loving husband and father and a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Petra Arguello. He leaves behind many loved ones including his wife of 45 years, Dolores Garcia; daughter, Renee Kean and husband, Jerry of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother, Thomas Garcia, II and his wife, Julia of Richwood, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Chapel.
