Anna Laura Underwood Johns passed away Friday, September 12, 2008 after a short illness. Anna was born October 21, 1935 to the late Raymond & Cleoda Moore in Freeport, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Johns, brother; Raymond Lee Moore & sister Velma Moore
Survivors include her sons; Charles Underwood & wife Debbie of Lake Jackson,
Randall Perry Underwood of Houston, Raymond Dean Underwood & fiancé Margie Wilson of Angleton & Cameron Underwood of Friendswood.
Grandsons; Ryan Underwood of Honolulu, Justin Underwood of Angleton & John Michael Underwood of Dallas
Granddaughters; Kristy Lawler of Lufkin & Leslie Underwood of Angleton,
Great-Granddaughters; Tayia & Alexis Lawler of Lufkin
Sisters; Helen Scherdin & husband Jimmie of Lake Jackson & Emma Perry of Angleton and numerous nieces & nephews
Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St Jerome’s Catholic Church, 201 N Lazy Lane in Clute, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Burial will follow in Angleton Cemetery.
