Mable Pavlicek

Mable Pavlicek, 92 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009.
Mable was born August 9, 1917 to Henry & Barbara Skucius in Cordele, Texas.
She loved arts and crafts, especially quilting and sewing. Mable learned to play the piano by ear. She enjoyed to dance and would waltz with her husband, John in the living room of their house. After John passed away, Mable went back to school, enrolling in business classes to become an accountant.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Ed Pavlicek; son, Billy Ray Pavlicek; brothers, Hubert Skucius, Archie Skucius and wife Loreta, Arnost Skucius, George Skucius & wife Albina; sisters, Emma Krauspkof & husband John, Marie Hill, Rose Reagan & husband Jim, Blanche Minter & husband Lonnie; and son-in-law, Donald Dixon.
Left to mourn her loss are her son, John Milton Pavlicek and wife Carmon; daughter, Barbara Ann Dixon; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are Friday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with Minister Ed Houk officiating. Burial will follow at the Danbury Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Donald Dixon, Howard Williams, Eddie Muniz, John Ray Pavlicek, Roland Torres and Adam Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Norman Adams, Colton Dixon, Tanner Dixon, John Williams, John Harold Love, Tre Adams, Alex Adams, Caleb Pavlicek, Joshua Pavlicek and Roland Torres II.
