William Zachary Fletcher, passed away in the early morning of May 3, 2025, in Angleton, Texas under the loving care of his wife and son. Zack was born on July 28, 1976, in Houston, Texas to Denise Klatt Fletcher and William “Bill” Fletcher.
Zack was a hard-working, humble, good-natured soul who anchored his family in love and faith. He was an expert angler, hunter, and loved to teach others what he knew. Several years ago, he developed a love for leather making, igniting the artisan in him. Though never idle, he lived a contemplative life and was most at peace outdoors. He enjoyed time with his dogs and chickens, sharing his love of nature, the water, and the land with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Carie, son Clay, mother Denise Sickinger (husband, Phillip), sisters; Deanna Daigle (husband, Mark) and Tammy Pawlik (husband, Richard), nephews; Andrew Daigle, Luke Daigle, Eli Pawlik and Carson Pawlik, nieces; Addison Daigle and Olivia Daigle, along with his mother-in-law Danyett Holcomb, brother-in-law, Chris Dahlstrom (wife, Mollye) and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dahlstrom.
Zack was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Fletcher and many other cherished family members.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Zack's life will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his impact on all who knew him.
