Stephen Glenn Russell

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Stephen Glenn Russell's passing on July 13, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on July 7, 1983, in Lake Jackson, Texas to his parents; Stephen Russell and Sherrie Hatthorn Walts, where he made countless memories with family and friends.

Known for his adventurous spirit and hard work, Stephen was a dedicated Facilities Manager, always going above and beyond in everything he did. As a kid, he was an avid sports enthusiast, showing remarkable talent as a BMX bike racer and a great baseball player. His passion for sports was matched only by his love for spending time with those closest to him.

Stephen was a kind soul whose presence brought joy to everyone around him; he will be deeply missed. Stephen is survived by his son, Brantley Russell, his "bonus daughter", Brayden Partin, his mother, Sherrie Hatthorn Walts, his brother, Ryan Plummer (wife, Brandi), and his nieces and nephews: Lindsey Winer, Reece Plummer, Michael Reppond and Annabell "AB" Plummer.

Stephen has been reunited in heaven with his father, Stephen Russell, and his grandparents, Ollie and Nicki Russell and R.C. Hatthorn.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, both at Palms Funeral Home.
