Salomon Zambada

October 6, 1935 — March 29, 2024

Salomon Alvarado Zambada, 88, of Angleton passed away March 29th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Salomon was born on October 6th, 1935 in Durango, Mexico to Lucano Zambada and Eulalia Alvarado.


He married Alicia Villanueva on April 27th 1955 in Raymondville, Texas. Salomon enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling with his wife. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 36 years.


Those that preceded him in death include his father and mother, sister Graciela Zambada, granddaughter Maya Victoria Rivera, and great grandson Ray Shawn Hudson Jr.

Left to remember him are his wife of sixty-nine years Alicia Zambada; children Arturo Zambada (Dora), Janie Zambada, Captain Jose Salomon Zambada (Barbara), Alfredo Zambada (JoAnne), Frances Zambada Rivera; fourteen grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.


Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. until 7:00pm with Rosary at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 3,2024, at Palms Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
