Rudy Stawarczik, 93, of Angleton passed away from this life on January 26, 2021, peacefully in his sleep at SPJST Senior Living in Taylor, TX. He was born on December 30, 1927 in Johnston City, Illinois and moved to Angleton in 1953 where he was a member of Most Holy Trinity Church and was one of the founding members of the Knights of Columbus while it was still St. Basil's Catholic Church. He also served his country and was a Korea veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernardene Stawarczik, sisters, Frances Schwartz and Emma Spiller. He is survived by his daughters, Rita Cloud & husband, Andy of Gatesville, Kaye Cloutier and husband, Paul of Nassau Bay and Rudie Berger & husband, Jeff of Granger, TX. Grandchildren, Corey Cloud and wife, Katie; Tim Cloud and wife Michelle, Claire Sewell and husband, Michael; great grandchildren, Connor, Gavin, Ava and Colt. He is also survived by his brother Robert Stawarczik and wife Kay of Lake Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28 from 4-6 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 29 at 10:00 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton with burial to follow in Angleton Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at SPJST Senior Living for their wonderful care and especially Katelynn Millner who he loved and adored.
