Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8 at Palms Rodger Dale Edgar was born February 8, 1951 in Cuero, Texas to Joshua & Ruby (Bowen) Edgar. He was preceded in death by his parents & his son; Rodger Edgar, Jr., brother; Ronnie Edgar Sr. Survivors include his wife of 35years, Sulema Edgar of Angleton, Children; Denise Hernandez & Roderick Watson of Jones Creek, John David Edgar & wife Theresa of Angleton and Step-Daughter; Melissa Banda of Angleton Brother; Kenneth Edgar of Freeport Sister-in-Law; Margaret Masters of Sweeny, and children Renee Edgar of Texas City, and Ronnie Edgar Jr. of Austin, Texas. Grandchildren; Kaleb Hernandez, Elijah Nelson, Draven Edgar, Jada Edgar & Bruno. And numerous other family & friends.
