Richard Lee Meier, 59, of Angleton passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born May 14, 1953 to William & Ernestine Meier in La Porte, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, William Lee Meier. He is survived by his wife, Donna K. Meier of Angleton; mother, Ernestine Meier of Angleton; brothers, Walter Meier & wife Theresa of West Columbia; Robert Meier & wife Cindy of Angleton; Thomas Meier & wife Cerrie of West Columbia & Scott Meier and wife Mevlida of Houston; sister, Wanda Witworth & husband Perry of Angleton; 10 step-children, 18 step-grandchildren, 24 step-great grandchildren, 9 nieces & 7 nephews. Mr. Meier was a U.S. Army veteran, and a fisherman. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Tabernacle in Angleton, Texas.
