Raymond Arthur Bent

Raymond Arthur Bent,(RayRay) 79, of Rosharon passed away on June 15, 2026. Raymond was born on August 5, 1946, in Duluth, Minnesota to Ronald A. and Mildred Irene (Walter) Bent. He grew up in Grand Marais, Minnesota and experienced many of life’s adventures in the wilderness and Lake Superior.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

A majority of his life was spent as a truck driver and he retired from Mammoet in Rosharon, Texas. He loved his career as a heavy haul truck driver, riding motorcycles, and traveling. Ray never met a stranger and was loved by many.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Mildred Bent.

Left to remember him is his wife Kandy Bent; children: Ron Bent and wife Leah, Jeff Bent and wife Sarah; sister: Carol Erickson of Blaine, Minnesota; three stepchildren, four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.

A time of Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on June 26, 2026, at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. June 27, 2026, at Palms Funeral Home.
