Ramona Williamson McDaniel

March 22, 1938 – December 23, 2025

Ramona McDaniel, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2025.

Ramona was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life reflected love, faith, and service to her family. She was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering care for those God placed in her life. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on through her family for generations to come.

She is survived by her children, James (Phillip) White and Bennie (Wayne) White, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, John Cullen Williamson and Annie Bell Williamson (Repp); her beloved husband, Mack McDaniel; her sister, Lilly Darlene Lampe; her brothers, Bill, Marvin, Johnny, Rix, and Ronald Williamson; her son, Jerry White; and her daughter, Debbie White.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home, located at 2300 East Mulberry Street, Angleton, Texas.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the same location, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Burial services will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, located at 1354 County Road 2626, Forrest, Texas 75925.

Though she will be deeply missed, the family finds comfort in knowing that Ramona is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her life, faith, and lasting legacy.
