In Loving Memory of Phyllis Ann Enge

Phyllis Ann Enge (Reno) was born on June 8, 1956, in Chicago Illinois, to Mr. August G. Reno and Mrs. Marion J. Reno (Rizzo). Phyllis grew up in Homewood Flossmoor, Illinois where she graduated From HF High school in 1974. She attended college at Western Illinois University where she got her teaching degree (Specifically physical education). At Western University she met the love of her life Grady C. Enge and they were married in 1978. Phyllis started her career as P.E. teacher and coach where she was affectionately known as “Mrs. P.E.” to her students. A few years later in 1981 the couple welcomed a son, Lucas C. Enge. The family now lived in Rockford Illinois. In 1984 the family moved via IBM (Grady’s job) to Longmont Colorado where they spent 37 years. Later in 1984 Phyllis and Grady welcomed their second child Emily A. Enge (Johnson). Phyllis continued to teach P.E. and various other things through the years. She made many friends in Longmont at schools, her church, and in the community. She loved them all dearly. Finally, the couple retired and followed their daughter to Angleton, Texas in 2021. She quickly joined a church and made more beloved friends. Phyllis lived her final days in Angleton where she battled cancer for 18 months.
