Philip Charles Newton

Philip Charles Newton was born on August 17, 1978 in Riverside, California to John and Kathy Newton and passed away on November 20, 2025 in Lake Jackson, Texas. Philip loved playing basketball at Brazoswood High School and Austin College. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Dallas Cowboys (contrary to his grandpa Philip). He also loved music. He had a big heart and was dearly loved.

Philip is survived by his son Asher and daughter Maesyn and their mother Lindsay. His mother and father, brother Jared, his Uncles Jeff and Darryl, Aunt Cyndie. Nieces and nephews; Chris, Mia, Liam, Gracie, Teagan, and Piper. Cousins Dave, Dale, Rhonda, Christine, Sandra, Allyson, Joshua, Jake, Zack, Tim and his girls Veronica, Delores, Anne, and Rachel. And many friends. All left to cherish his memory.

A memorial service to be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Tx. On Thursday December 4, 2025 @7pm
