Peggy Lynn Case

Peggy Lynn Case, 70, of Lake Jackson, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was born on September 1, 1955, in Freeport to her loving parents, Ernest and Katy (Zieschang) Olson.

Peggy was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved knitting and creating special handmade treasures for those she cared about. She enjoyed working puzzles, taking trips to the casinos in Louisiana, and traveling to explore new places and make lasting memories. Her warmth, laughter, and caring spirit touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her children: Jason Knopp and his wife, Shelby; Cody Case and his wife, Tiffany; and Jason Case. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Gloria Ann Malone, Joyce Marie Weatherby, and Earline Mae Cox, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Cherish Garrett, Gracelyn Knopp, Tinsley Knopp, Dillon Case, Ty Case, Alyssa Case, and Johnathan Case.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Katy Olson, and her daughter, Jamie Knopp.

Peggy will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the joy she brought to those around her. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
