Pat passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on December 20, 2025. She was born on October 21, 1950 to her parents Henry Peloquin and Betty Mayfield in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Peloquin and Betty Mayfield Peloquin; her stepdad, Frank Martinez; her son, Guy DWayne Hamlet; and her great-grandson, Waylon Scott Hamlet.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 57 and a half years, Ronnie Dale Hamlet of Angleton; her son, Timothy Scott Hamlet (Kacey O'Brien Hamlet) of Angleton; her daughter, Cynthia Ann Moore (Troy Moore) of North Zulch; grandchildren Wesley Scott Hamlet (Macy Moriarty Hamlet) of Richards, Katelyn Renea Gray and Kaden Moore of North Zulch; and her great-grandson, Hollis Hayes Hamlet of Richards, Texas.
Pat also leaves behind three sisters and a brother; Theresa Ites of Galveston, Kathy (Martin) Powell of Louisiana, Clyde Peloquin of Texas City and Belinda (David) Streva of Louisiana, many cousins that were more like siblings, nieces and nephews, all of which she adored.
Pat lived a life full of joy, adventure, and love. For over 45 years, she was an avid bowler, finding both fun and friendship in the lanes. She cherished the outdoors, spending countless days fishing, camping, and traveling to new places. Always ready for the next adventure, Pat never hesitated to pack her bags for a cruise or her annual girls’ trip at the drop of a hat.
Pat and Ronnie shared many wonderful years at their home away from home on Lake Livingston. There, they created lasting memories with their children and later their grandchildren—teaching them the simple joys of campfires, fishing, and the beauty of nature. Secretly, Pat loved to “outfish” everyone for bragging rights, and her laughter made those moments unforgettable.
Their love for adventure extended far beyond the lake. Together, Pat and Ronnie traveled by motorcycle to Canada and all but seven Continental states, embracing the open road and the thrill of discovery. These journeys were a testament to their adventurous spirit and love for life.
Family was the center of Pat’s world. She adored her grandchildren with all her heart, and her newest joy was welcoming her great-grandson, Hollis, into the family. Pat also treasured family game nights filled with cards, board games, and dominoes—moments that brought everyone together in laughter and friendly competition.
Pat was a great friend to many and never met a stranger. Her warmth and kindness turned friends into family, and her presence brought light and laughter wherever she went.
Pat will be deeply missed by her family and the many friends whose lives she touched. Her spirit of adventure, love for family, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
