Nolen Gene (Boudreaux) LeBlanc
September 21, 1954 - June 22, 2024
Nolen Gene LeBlanc age 69 of Yantis, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife and son by his side at UT Health Tyler, Texas on June 22, 2024.
Nolen graduated from Alvin High School in 1973 and married the love of his life Rhonda on July 18, 1975. He passed 26 days short of their 49th anniversary on July 18, 1975.
He worked at Phillips 66, later ConocoPhillips for 31 years and retired at the age of 55 on December 31, 2009. His dream was to retire at the age of 55 and buy a new home on Lake Fork and they fulfilled that dream October 2011.
Nolen enjoyed fishing, hunting, cruising the seas, and playing slots at the casino.
Nolen never met a stranger and had a friendly, outgoing personality.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Nolen N. LeBlanc and mother Delores LeBlanc.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda LeBlanc, son Nathan LeBlanc, sister Audrey Fabrygel, brothers, Glen LeBlanc, David LeBlanc, Ronald LeBlanc, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Nolen repeated his famous words of wisdom to all: Retire Early, Live life to the fullest, and do what makes you happy.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 East Mulberry, Angleton, Texas 77515.
Burial will take place at Danbury Cemetery, 11th Street, Danbury, Texas, 77534, June 29th at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Pentecost officiating.
