Noemi Figueroa, a beacon of faith, love, and strength, passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2025. She was 97 years old.
To our beloved mother: Today we celebrate her remarkable life. She was the one who taught us to love, to laugh, to work hard, and to be brave. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and guidance, and she held us close to the very end.
Mom's devotion to Jesus was, and is, a profound example of unconditional love. Her passion for reading the Bible and studying God’s word was a daily ritual that never wavered and never failed. Not only did she study God’s word, she lived it. She shared it. She voiced it for all to hear, rejoicing in Jesus’ name and remaining steadfast in her mission to share His love with others wherever she went.
Her commitment to prayer was an extraordinary part of her daily life. Every single morning, she would call each of her seven children and grandchildren to offer her blessing. This ritual extended to her friends and also to her family in Mexico, taking hours each day, sharing her love for Jesus and praying fervently for others with candles lit at her makeshift altar in her bedroom. She gave us a roadmap to follow Jesus, giving unconditionally and with so much passion, never skipping a day.
Mom was vibrant, strong, and diligent, never making excuses. She held her path in high regard because Jesus was her reason.
Her relationships with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces were something so special. The impact she made was a true blessing, and she taught us to pass that love on.
We will miss our beloved mom immensely. She has instilled a legacy that will live on in all our lives. For this, we are thankful to her for all the beauty she gave to us.
