Nasario Villanueva, 87 of Angleton, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 4, 2025. He was born in Angleron, Texas on July 28, 1937 to Ramon & Luz Villanueva.
Nasario attended school in Angleton and later started his career in the U.S. Army National Guard. From there he enlisted into the U.S. Army. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and then traveled to different army bases across the world. After 32 years of service to his country, he retired and came home to Angleton. He spent the rest of his years with his family, whom he loved and cherished.
He is survived by his children, Praxedis Villanueva, Sr., Rosalva Garcia & husband Julian Sr., Mark A. Villanueva & wife Karen, and Yvette M. Villanueva; his sisters, Alicia Zambada & Angela Helen Guzman; along with several grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Juan Villanueva, Pedro Villanueva, Sr. and Eluterio Villanueva, and sister Candelaria Jimenez.
Visitation for Nasario will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Palms Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 pm with Rosary beginning at 4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 10:00 am at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Julian S. Garcia, Jr., Raymond C. Garcia, Nasario Garcia, Xavier M. Villanueva, Zechariah L. Jammer, & Timothy W. Higgins, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Praxedis Villanueva, Jr., & Juanito Villanueva.
The family wants to send a special thank you to Latrice Smith with Carebuilders and Laura Harrison with IPH Hospice for taking care of Nasario in his last days.
