Michael Rivera

Michael Rivera, 48, of West Columbia left us all too soon on October 7, 2025. Michael began his life journey on April 15, 1977, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. It was here that he was born to Luis Antonio and Rosa Julia (Torres) Rivera. In his early childhood he came to live with Monserrate and John Gresham who raised him as their own.

Michael was blessed with two sons, Isaac and Jacob, who he loved and adored.

He enjoyed fishing, swimming, cooking, and hunting. He was manager of El Torro, Clute TX. He later moved and worked in accounting for Simmons and Associates in Hot Springs, Arkansas for approximately fifteen years.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Luis Antonio Rivera and his grandparents: Carmen and Adolfo Rivera, and Jesus and Feliciano Lopez.

Left to remember him are his parents John and Monserrate (Millie) Gresham, maternal mother Rosa Torres Rivera, sons: Jacob and Issac Rivera, brothers: Antonio Rivera and Joseph Gresham, and sister Colleen Reichel (Patrick).
