Michael Allen Mendez

Michael Allen Mendez, 27, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, passed away on December 23, 2025 in Richwood, Texas. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his vibrant spirit, contagious energy, and unforgettable presence.

Michael was born in Corsicana, Texas on June 30, 1998 and is the beloved son of Delaina Lujan and Miguel Mendez (wife, Mireya). He was a devoted brother to Alexander Lujan, Kayli Lujan, Angel Mendez, and Julianne Mendez. Above all, Michael was a loving father to his daughter, Isabella Mendez, who was the light of his life. He also leaves behind his spouse, Magaret “Maggie” Ruiz, with whom he shared many cherished memories.

Michael had a passion for gaming—both video and card games—and was always ready for friendly competition and laughter. Had a talent to playing the keyboard. He loved dancing at Mexican parties, and spending quality time with his family and his pets. One of his favorite traditions was going to karaoke with his mom, where he never missed the chance to belt out his signature song, “Kryptonite,” bringing smiles to everyone around him.

Michael’s joyful energy, humor, and deep love for his family and friends will be remembered forever. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Michael will be laid to rest at Angleton Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Michael’s life, sharing memories and honoring the legacy he leaves behind.
