Mauricio Almanza Orozco, Jr. "Baby" 43, of Angleton passed away on August 3, 2025, in Houston. Mauricio was born on March 7, 1982, in Galveston to Mauricio Orozco, Sr. and Maria Lenor Almanza

Mauricio “Baby” Orozco loved barbecuing, fishing, hunting, and spending time at his Double O Game Farm.

His favorite pastimes included horse racing, maintaining his game farm, and being with his loved ones and loyal friends. He was known for his strong will, determined spirit, and love of taking risks. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to remember him is ---- his daughter Alizzandria Orozco, parents Mauricio Orozco Sr., and Maria Leonor Orozco, siblings Criselda Quintanilla, Orlando Orozco, Gustavo Orozco, knephews Edgar Quintanilla Jr., Isaias Quintanilla, Aiden Quintanilla and niece Ivana Quintanilla.

Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Palms Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday August 9, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
