Mary L. (Filipp) Stark was born on November 9, 1939, to Frank and Emilie (Pustejovsky) Filipp in Danbury, Texas and was received in Heaven on June 20, 2024. She graduated from Danbury High School in 1958 and worked for Danbury ISD for a short time before accepting a job with 1st National Bank in Angleton in the proofing department, where she worked until her retirement. Mary and her sister Ellin enjoyed many vacations together all over the United States. In 1976, Mary married Brady Stark and they were happily married until his death in 2004. Mary was a very hard worker and enjoyed the country life, which was evident in her love of gardening and raising chickens along with dogs, cats, cows or anything else that came along. Mary was also well known for her baking skills as we all enjoyed her awesome pies, cookies, cakes, and strudels at many family gatherings, which we are all going to miss.
