Martin Moran, beloved husband and father, passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 59, in the comfort of his home. Born on May 17, 1965, in Stanton, Texas, Martin dedicated 27 years of his life working as a truck driver for Mammoet, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Throughout his life, Martin was a devoted family man, leaving behind his father Jose Refugio Moran Sr., his loving wife, Estella Moran, their six cherished children: Martin Moran Jr., Sasha Moran, Martina Moran, Joshua Moran, Selena Moran, Loran Moran, and their 24 grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy, and he often expressed how grateful he was to have them in his life.
Martin was also known for his passion for baseball, particularly his unwavering support for the Houston Astros. He could often be found cheering for his team with great enthusiasm, sharing in both the highs and lows of the game with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Enriqueta Terrazas Moran, who instilled in him the values of hard work, dedication, and love that he carried throughout his life.
Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas, on May 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on May 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with interment immediately after at Angleton Cemetery.
Martin Moran leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and passion that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. His spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of his family and friends.
