Obituary

In Loving Memory

of

Mark Douglas Liescheski

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Douglas Liescheski, born on January 12, 1966.

Mark was preceded in death by the love of his life, his beloved wife, Lisa Ann Liescheski, as well as his mother and father.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly, his kids, his cherished grandchildren that he loved so much and held a special place in his heart, Dalton, Zach, Cash, Preston, Hunter, Sarah, Elizabeth, Scarlett, Natalie, Ruby, and Gerik, along with his brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles cousins and all extended family, and countless friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Mark spent many years working in the heating and air conditioning industry, a career he truly loved. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix, and nothing made him happier than getting an air conditioner back up and running.

He also dedicated much of his time to the Brazoria County Fair Association, proudly serving on the F & S and Transportation Committees. The fair wasn’t just an event to Mark—it was a community he cared deeply about and one he faithfully served for many years.

Above all else, Mark loved his family. He treasured spending time with his kids and grandchildren, creating memories they will carry with them forever.

To many, Mark could come across as a stern and somewhat serious man, but those fortunate enough to know him well knew there was a soft, loving heart beneath that tough exterior. He showed his love through his actions—by helping others, working hard, and always being there when his family needed him.

After losing the love of his life last September, Mark carried a heartbreak that few could see but many could truly understand. While that grief became part of his story, it does not define his life. His life was defined by the love he shared, the family he cherished, the years he worked hard, and the countless memories he created with the people fortunate enough to know him.

Those who loved Mark will remember his smile, his laugh, his willingness to always lend a hand, and the moments—both big and small—that made him who he was. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his love and the memories he gave us will remain forever.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that the love Mark gave so freely will continue to live on through his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
