Maria De La Luz Hinojos Urias

Maria De La Luz Hinojos Urias was born on October 4, 1937, in a town called Coyame, Chihuhua Mexico to her parents Lazaro and Josefa Hinojos. She was called home on December 5, 2025, in Angleton, Texas.

Her greatest joys in her life were her love for God and her love for her family. She loved drawing flowers and watching her Christian channels. She enjoyed reading her bible, praying for her family and praising and worshipping God. She will be remembered for her love for her family and unwavering faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lazaro and Josefa Hinojos, brothers Francisco and Juan, sister Ester and grandson Jacob.

Left to remember her are her brothers Isidro and Trine, sisters Delia, Nati, Lilia, daughters Virginia and Lupe, sons Efren, Ismael, Jessee, and Tony. 17 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-great grandchildren. Her legacy will continue and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025 at Palms Funeral Home with Burial to follow at Angleton Cemetery.
