Margaret Ann Williams, 69 of Angleton went to her eternal rest surrounded by her daughters on Saturday December 6, 2025, after a courageous fight.
Margaret was born on March 27, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, and later made her home in Angleton, Texas, where she built a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others.
Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of deep Christian faith. Her belief in God was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived daily. She led by example, passing her strong faith on to her children and grandchildren, shaping generations through love, guidance, and unwavering belief.
She is survived by her three daughters, who were the pride and joy of her life: Rachael Mitchell and husband Brian of Fort Worth, and their children Hayden, Mason, and Max; Kristen Killgore and husband Bobby of Lake Jackson, and their daughter Aubree; Skyllar Hutchings and husband Peyton of Angleton, and their children Brynlee, Landree, Clay, and Harlyn.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Bertha Williams; her sister, Shelia Kunz; and her brother, Mike Williams.
Professionally, Margaret had a remarkable career at The Dow Chemical Company, where she served in the Analytical Sciences Department and later in the Safety Department. She was so exceptional in her work, and so deeply committed to protecting and caring for people, that the company created a position specifically for her. This accomplishment was one of her proudest—not for the title itself, but because it allowed her to do what she loved most: looking after others and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Margaret retired from The Dow Chemical Company in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and strong relationships. Most recently, she worked in the Adult Education and Literacy Department at Brazosport College, where she again found great purpose and formed lifelong friendships. In every position she held, Margaret poured herself fully into her work and the people around her.
Margaret was known for her constant positivity and warm spirit. She was always in a good mood, always finding the bright side of any situation, and always encouraging those around her. No matter the circumstance, she chose gratitude, optimism, and grace. Her laughter, kindness, and steady presence made everyone feel at ease.
Above all else, Margaret was most proud of her family. She was deeply involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren—attending, supporting, praying, and celebrating every milestone. Her love was unconditional, her guidance steady, and her presence a blessing that will be felt forever.
A Memorial Service honoring the life of Margaret Ann Williams will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 3, 2026, at Palm Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. The service is open to the public, and all who knew and loved Margaret are welcome to attend.
If so inclined, donations can be made to the SPCA of Brazoria County, reflecting Margaret’s compassion and care for all living things.
