It is with great sadness that the Stevenson family announces the unexpected passing of Lindsey John Stevenson of Richwood, Tx. He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56 on August 29 in Galveston, Tx with his wife and best friend, Ann Stevenson by his side. Lindsey was born on March 10, 1965 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to parents Richard and Betty (Dupont) Stevenson. Lindsey attended Broadmoor H.S. and graduated from a Louisiana State University with a bachelor degree in business. He moved to Texas where he met and married his wife Ann Gruber. They married on October 27, 2015 and made their home in Richwood, Texas. Lindsey enjoyed Everything! He researched and became proficient at every hobby. A few of those were; model airplanes, drag car racing, magic tricks, making various ammunitions, woodworking, Astronomy/telescope, and so many more. He enjoyed casino table games, smoking fine cigars, and going to the movies was a favorite pastime. Lindsey was the "Hobby Man" and was always entertaining everyone. His greatest love was family and the time spent with them. Those that preceded him in death include his father, Richard Stevenson and his Godfather, Uncle Irby Dupont. Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Ann Stevenson; step children: Carrabie Vice and Alyssa Zaragoza. His Mother, Betty Stevenson of Baton Rouge, LA; sister Charmaine (David) LaCoste of Baton Rouge, LA; brother Richard (Serina) of Jacksonville, FL: and twin sister Leslie Shreve (David) of Charlottesville, VA; Grandchildren, Devan, Maddison, Olivia, Arabella, and Zuri Vice; Leon and Dante Zaragoza. Lindsey is from a large and beautiful family and had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts and Uncles who will miss and remember his contagious smile and his positive and happy nature he shared with everyone he loved and met. Services for Lindsey will be held September 18th 2021 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, In Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. and mass will start at 11:00 a.m. The family request donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Service Details.
