Leslie David Crawford

Leslie David Crawford, 91, of Angleton, Texas went home to be with Jesus on October 13, 2025. Leslie began his life’s journey on December 23, 1933, in Rockport Texas when he was born to Seburn and Ethel (Brundrett) Crawford. He married Pansy Barnett on March 17,1956.

His love of country led him to serve in the United States Army until he was called to return home to take care of his parents.

His love for God and the Word led him into ministry. He was ordained as a minister in 1957 and pastored for over forty-two years with his wife Pansy by his side.

He told us for many years, and as recently as a week before his call to Glory that he had presided over more than 250 funerals and he did not want to attend another, including his own! In keeping with his wishes there will be only a private celebration of life.

Those that preceded him in death include his parents Seburn and Ethel (Brundrett) Crawford, three sisters and a brother.

Those left to treasure his memory are his wife Pansy (Barnett) Crawford, two children: David Crawford (Starla), and Joy Lotspeich (James); two grandchildren Kayla Dodson (Chad) and Hannah Tonche (Trace); six grandchildren: Brady Dodson, Karleigh Dodson, Sadie Dodson, Lily Dodson, Desi Tonche, and Sonny Tonche.
