Leah Renee (Brumbelow) Lonebear, 65, of Liverpool passed away on November 9, 2025. Leah was born on January 4, 1960, in Freeport to Nelton Clovis and Mary Adeline (Redding) Brumbelow.
She was married to Arthur Wayne Westfield.
Leah had many passions in life which included a passion for her kids and grandkids. She also had a tremendous love of dancing; it was a daily life occurrence. She enjoyed pursuing her education as she had obtained an associate’s degree in theology/ Eschatology. Followed by a bachelor’s degree in Eschatology. The medical field was probably her greatest passion. In her many years in the field, she had received Ems and life support training, telemetry / Advanced Cardiac life support certification, pharmacy tech/ compounding and IV Admix, and she was also a Texas State Ambassador for the American Pain and Disability foundation. One of her lesser-known passions was that she became a minister. She also incorporated her love of cooking by becoming a Sous chef, which she was extremely proud of.
She is preceded in death by her father Nelton Clovis Brumbelow and her mother Mary Adeline (Redding) Brumbelow.
Left to remember her is her husband Arthur Westerfield; children: Jillian of Austin, TX and her son Joshua of Kansas City, MO; siblings: Karen of Co, Nikki of TX, Carlton of TX, and Cheri of AZ; grandchildren: Savannah, Melody, and Yasin of TX, Corey of GA, and Samantha and Samuel of MO. Along with numerous other family members and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
