Kevin Lee Gonzales, age 46, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2023.
Kevin was born on December 15, 1976 to Clem and Sylvia Gonzales and spent the majority of his life living in Angleton, TX. He graduated from Angleton High School in 1995. He spent many years working as a multi-craftsman at various local construction companies.
Kevin enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family and friends. He loved playing cards and you could often find him at a poker table. He enjoyed the game, but also enjoyed spending time with the friends he made in that community. Kevin loved football and spent the season cheering on his favorites the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and Angleton Wildcats. He was very supportive of his younger cousins and friend's children in all their extra-curricular activities. He spent countless hours traveling to watch them play softball, baseball and football often sporting shirts he had made with their numbers and unique slogans in support of them. Kevin was the life of any party, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He also had a sentimental side and never missed an opportunity to tell his loved ones how much they meant to him. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The outpouring of support from so many people is evidence of just how many he touched during his all too short life.
Kevin was reunited in heaven with his paternal grandparents, Jose D. & Alberta Gonzales and maternal grandparents Rudy & Frances B. Trevino; Uncles Ricky Gonzales, Noe Trevino, Sr. and David Trevino; Aunt Josephine Gonzales and cousin, Tiffany Gonzales.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Clem and Sylvia Gonzales of Angleton, TX.; Uncles Rudy Trevino, Joe Gonzales Jr., Gary Gonzales (Linda) and Aunts Becky Gonzales (Dora), Esther Garcia and Cynthia Trevino. He will also be lovingly remembered by his long-time love, Korie Ramos. His legacy will live on through his numerous cousins, friends and godchildren, Briana Cantu and Ace Williams.
Visitation will be at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, TX, Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. immediately followed by an Interment at Angleton Cemetery.
