Juan Erasmo Garcia

Juan Erasmo Garcia, 73, of Freeport, Texas passed away January 27, 2026. Juan was born January 3,1953 in Reynosa, Mexico to Erasmo and Julia (Leyva) Garcia.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and retired truck driver. He loved music and was a singer in a band for many years. He loved fishing, but more than anything, he loved his dogs. He had a heart bigger than Texas and was always helping others.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Erasmo Garcia and Julia Guillerminia (Leyva) Garcia, his Son Juan Garcia Jr, his Brother Salvador Garcia and his Great granddaughter Cecily Ramirez.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Ramos of Bay City Tx. Five daughters, Julie Garcia of Angleton, Maria Garcia of Freeport, Marissa Garcia husband Al of Killeen, Erika Garcia Lara and husband Mike of Killeen, and Johnnie Garcia of Killeen. One son, Mark Garcia of Freeport. 30 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren. Two brothers; Joe Garcia and Martin Garcia. Four sisters; Victoria Leyva, Noelia Cantu, Maria Isabel Garcia and Lilly Swope. Numerous nieces and nephews. Juan will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 5:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M at Palms Funeral Home.
