Joyce Robertson 72, of Angleton passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5-7 at Palms Funeral Home Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Damon Cemetery in Damon, Texas. Joyce was born December 9, 1939 in Highlands, Texas to Raymond & Hilda Winkler Barton. A longtime Angleton resident, she was and avid birdwatcher and loved to camp, fish, cook & garden. Joyce was a blue ribbon winner for her jams & jellies at the Brazoria County Fair. Her Parents, brother; Ray Eugene Barton & sister; Lorene Eveloyse Stanford preceded her in death. Survivors include the love of her life and husband of 57 years, Holly Arnold Robertson of Angleton, sister; Gladys Sobotik of Clute and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
