John Paul Gordon, Jr.

John Paul Gordon Jr., 57 of Angleton, TX, passed away on June 19th 2025. John was born on August 2, 1967, in Milan, Indiana to John Paul Gordon Sr. and Doris Bean Gordon. He was the oldest of three siblings.

John spent his early years, living with Grandpa Glendale Bean and Margie Bean, in Decatur Illinois where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He later moved back to Texas with his mother Doris and siblings, Tammy and Richard. John’s teenage years were spent hanging out with his close friends. He enjoyed playing card games with our Grandma Carrie and spent several years living with her. John became a truck driver and eventually worked for a towing company. He enjoyed country music and going dancing. You would often see him in a camo t-shirt and blue jeans or a wrangler denim pearl snap. John’s favorite past time was going to local game rooms and playing the slot machines. He lived a simple, quiet life.

His motto was; I’m me…just me…like me…love me…hate me… it’s all good.

John recently accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior and through God’s loving mercy, was called home to join his mother Doris Miller, grandparents; Glendale Bean Sr and Carrie Lindfield, uncles; Floyd Bean, Richard Sepolio, and Ralph Arnett.

Left to remember him is his brother Richard Gordon, sister Tammy Martinez, aunt Cathy and uncle Arthur Guice, aunt Debra Sepolio, uncle Glendale Bean Jr and Cathy Bean, aunt Connie Scarpelli, nieces Brianna Gordon, Aysiah Martinez and Zayda Martinez, along with great nephews and niece and numerous cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
