Joe Paul Huckaby Sr., 79, of Angleton passed away on January 5, 2026. Joe was born on October 31, 1946, in Jonesboro, Louisiana to Sammy and Opal (Maxwell) Huckaby.

He married Henrietta Deese on January 9, 1965 in Hodge, Louisiana.

Joe enjoyed spending time with family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching old movies. He loved his grandchildren and never missed a sporting event or activity as long as his health allowed him.

Those that preceded him in death include his wife Henrietta Hucakby and his parents, Sammy and Opal Huckaby.

Left to remember him are his children: Joe Paul Huckaby, Jr. and wife Angela of Angleton, Tina Marie Huckaby of Angleton and Lois Jean Morton and husband Neal of Angleton, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Connors officiating,

Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
