Jimmy Wayne McRae, 65, of Angleton passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born to Lee & Stella McRae in Crockett, TX on May 2, 1950. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Palms Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Angleton Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held from 11-1:00 p.m. also in Palms Funeral Home. Jimmy truly loved his wife of 48 years and was very proud of all his children. He also loved hunting, fishing & racing hotrods. He was a loyal and faithful friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Donna McRae, siblings; Larry McRae, Jack Powell, Shirley Vaughn, Rosie Powell, Margaret Herbert & Sam Powell. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 48 years Glenda McRae, children; Larry McRae (Jamie), Kim McRae, Lori Smith (Craig), brother Willie McRae, sister Sybil Clayton, grandchildren Tony Crane, Nathan Crane, Lauryn Nichols, Katelyn Smith, Jarett Stansel, Jacob McRae & Landry McRae, and a great-grandchild on the way.
