Jesse C. Garcia, 70, of Angleton, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by the family who loved him deeply. Born on April 25, 1955, in Freeport, Texas, Jesse was the youngest child of Alex and Priciliana Garcia. Growing up in a close and spirited family shaped him into the kind, loyal, and hardworking man he became. He graduated from Angleton High School with the Class of 1974 and carried lifelong friendships and memories from those years.
Jesse dedicated many years of his life working as a Glass Technician at Triangle Glass, where he took pride in craftsmanship and honesty. Later, he brought the same dedication to his role as a Maintenance Technician at Buc-ee’s. No matter the job, Jesse always gave his best and treated everyone with respect.
To the people who loved him most, Jesse was affectionately known as “Tuti.” He was the heart of many family gatherings and a steady presence whose laughter and stories could fill a room. Jesse loved cheering on his Houston Texans and Houston Astros. He had a passion for fishing, hot rod cars, motorcycles, and traveling—especially anywhere he could drive. Among his prized possessions over the years were an orange Camaro, an El Camino, and a T-top Pontiac Firebird Trans Am—each one reflecting his adventurous spirit.
Jesse’s passing reunites him with many loved ones gone before him: his grandparents, Tomas and Seveda Caballero and Leo and Paulita Garcia; his parents, Alex J. and Priciliana Garcia; and his brothers, Joe C. Garcia, Alex C. Garcia, and Leo C. Garcia. Their memories live on through the stories he shared and the love he carried.
He leaves behind his beloved sister, Ofelia Trevino, who shared a lifetime of closeness with him. He is also survived by his nieces, Priscila Boren and Tina M. Deleon and husband David; his nephews, Eddie A. Trevino and wife Carol Ann, Joe Lee Garcia and wife Crystal, Martin F. Caudillo, Juanita L. Caudillo, and Margarita A. Caudillo; his sister-in-law, Lupe Caudillo; and many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews who adored their Uncle Jesse. His impact on their lives will be felt forever.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Christian Alejandro Sifuentes, Eddie Alex Trevino, Joe Lee Garcia, Trent Alex Trevino, Steven Elliott, Martin Caudillo, and Frank Robles.
