Jeanette Estelle Frank, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and affectionately referred to as “Nannie” by family and those who knew her well, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, at the age of 81. She lived a life rooted in faith, guided by love, and centered around the family she cherished so deeply.
Jeanette was born on August 20th, 1945, in Jewett, TX to Verue Muirheid and George Tumlinson. She relocated, and graduated from Angleton High School in 1963. Danbury is where Jeanette would plant her roots and marry the love of her life, Allen Frank, on October 2nd, 1964.
Jeanette and Allen Frank shared 62 years of marriage, raising three sons and building a family that would become their greatest legacy.
Her life was filled with a deep commitment to her church, a joy for exploring new places, and a beautiful reflection of the love she had for her family.
Jeanette faithfully served as the church secretary at Community Baptist Church, where her faith and love for her church family were an important part of her life.
From the beauty of Hawaii, Vermont and Maine in the fall, to the cities of Chicago and many places in between, Jeanette enjoyed traveling and especially treasured her trips to Branson, Missouri, with Allen and her grandkids. At home, monthly Bunco with a close-knit group of cherished friends was a beloved tradition for almost 50 years, filled with laughter, friendship, and countless memories.
Above all else, the one thing that brought her the greatest happiness in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She absolutely adored her babies, even those who weren’t in relation, and her heart seemed to grow bigger with every new little life that she met. Loving them came as naturally as breathing. They were her pride, her joy, and one of her greatest blessings. The love she poured into them was immeasurable, and the memories they shared with her will be deeply valued forever.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Allen Frank, their three sons, and their families:
Sons, Kevin (Pam) Frank, Chris (Christine) Frank, Matt (Sara) Frank.
Grandchildren: Corey (Kasey) Frank, Cailey (Matt) Dees, Allison (Darik) Toombs, Shelby (Nick) Dees, Case Frank, Zack Frank, Mallary (Jake) Webster, and Jaci Frank.
Great- grandchildren: Collin Frank, Jax Dees, Banks Dees, Korbin Frank, Blakely Toombs, Cameron Frank, Rush Dees, and Elle Dees.
Jeanette also leaves behind sisters, Debbie Seay, Linda Ruthenborg, Brother Omer (Liz) Muirheid, nieces (who were like sisters), Kim Taylor and Kathy O’Bryant, their extended families, and Eduardo Ayala, who she referred to as her fourth son, and his family.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Verue Muirheid and George Tumlinson.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that although Nannie’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love she gave will never end. She will always be the blue sky in all their memories, and It will live on in her children, in the grandchildren she adored, in the great-grandchildren who carry her legacy forward, and in every person whose life she touched.
Pallbearers will be Corey Frank, Case Frank, Zack Frank, Matt Dees, Nick Dees, Darik Toombs, Jake Webster, and Eduardo Ayala.
The family would like to extend a very special and heartfelt thank-you to home health nurse Crystal Johnson who quickly became family to Jeanette, and also extend gratitude to the hospice team. Your kindness, compassion, and loving care meant more to our family than words can reflect.
Our family would also like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, comfort, love, and support during this difficult time. Every thought, prayer, phone call, visit, and act of kindness has meant so much to our family.
Jeanette was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed. She was Mom. She was Nannie. She was a friend, a neighbor, a devoted member of Community Baptist Church, and a part of so many lives. Most of all, she was our home.
Psalms 30:12
That my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my god, I will praise you forever.
