Jean "Doris" Jones

Jean Doris Jones, 80, of Clute passed away on Sunday, Sept 27, 2020 in Lake Jackson. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 3, 2020 at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at Palms. Doris was born January 12, 1940 to Willie Riley & Lillie Belle "Moss" Liddell in Chester, Mississippi. She was one of seven children. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Bobby Ted Box & James Lewis Jones, two sisters, one brother and a great granddaughter Emelyn Joy Sweisthal. Survivors include her Children; Tony Box and wife Linda of Danbury, Connie Wilcox and husband Jimmy of Clute. Brother, Terry Liddell and wife Linda. Sisters; Jerry Fulce and husband Jimmy and Charlotte Bonar. Grandchildren Adam Box & wife Stephanie, Jessica Gallagher & husband Tony, Kylie Jo Sweisthal & husband Matt, Abbie Lynn Johnston & husband Casey, Lillie Ann Box, Tammy Sullivan & husband Tom & Lisa Aguilar & husband Steve. 16-Great-Grandchildren and 2-Great-Great Grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Doctors & Nurses at St. Luke- Brazosport and Amed Hospice for their care of our Mother in her final days. Service Details.
