James Leon Vickery, Sr., 80, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, in Lake Jackson, Texas.

James was born on September 16, 1946, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to Wesley Vickery and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Moses Vickery. Throughout his 80 years of life, James created memories, shared laughter, and touched the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

James shared his life with his beloved wife, Mary Lou (Valdez) Vickery, who survives him. Together, they built a life filled with memories, love, and the many moments that make a lifetime together so meaningful.
