Helen Elaine Goe

Helen Elaine Goe, 76, of Angleton passed away on November 22, 2025. Helen was born on July 24, 1949, in Freeport to Howard Newton and Maxine Nell (Swearingen) Goe.

In her younger days she loved racing her cars. It was always a great day when she had the winning car. She also had a love for animals, particularly all her cats. She was known to catch a few racoons and made sure to send them on their way and not hurt them. Helen was creative in knitting and making sure to personalize in our favorite colors.

She will be remembered for her uncanny ability to not only remember the birthdays of those that she came to know and love – but also anniversary dates and other significant dates. Helen had her camera with her for all family gatherings and was very good at organizing, dating, and even putting our age on each one.

Those that preceded her in death includes her parents Howard and Maxine Goe, brother Glenn Goe and wife Mary, and nephew Cameron.

Left to remember her are her brother Howard Goe (Tina), sisters, Vicky Johnson, Patty Adams, Carolyn Feakes, and Beverly Holloway. She also had many nieces and nephews that have fond memories of her.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Jones Creek. Pastor Ryan Olivier will be officiating.
