Heidi Lynn Klecka was born on January 5, 1974 in Freeport, Texas to Carolyn Mayfield and Bobby Woodward.
Heidi fought hard but on September 30, 2023 she lost her battle. She was met at those heavenly gates by her grandparents, stepdad Freddie Shanks and best friend Michelle Ladwig and much more family rejoicing in her homecoming.
Heidi is survived by her son Cade Klecka of Bellville, her mother Carolyn Shanks, her father Bobby (Sandy) Woodward, and her brother Brian Woodward all of Angleton, nephew Brantley Woodward, nieces Blayne and Braylee Woodward, stepsisters Alena (Chad) Phillips of Sweeny and Sherilyn Steele of Houston. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cade was the light of her life. She encouraged and supported him in whatever he had going on football, golfing, fishing or just being underfoot.
In June 2021 Heidi accepted Christ into her life and followed that up with baptism at First Baptist Church Angleton. Heidi Loved her Lord and was always reading her daily scripture.
Heidi loved trail-rides and travel, when she was younger her and her best friend Michelle were always hanging out at the arenas or planning a trip somewhere and especially if it involved a beach. Heidi had been from the beaches of Hawaii to the cold of Canada. She especially loved Arkansas and being on the lake. Heidi loved family most of all and being together, if it was reunions, or birthdays or picnics really anytime anywhere that family was gathering she would join right in. RIP baby girl you will be missed.
