Georgie Pekar

Georgie Pekar, 84 of Angleton passed away Friday, May 04, 2018 in Houston. Funeral Mass is set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 8, 2018 at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 pm with Rosary/ Christian Wake at 7:00 at Palms Funeral Home. Mrs. Pekar was born February 25, 1934 in Richmond, Texas to John and Mary Horacek Mutina. She had lived in the Angleton/Danbury area since 1954 and was retired from the Brazoria County Clerks Office. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Albert Pekar. Survivors include her Children; Debbie Maly (Lou) of Brazoria, Noel Jeter (Joseph Lawless) of Danbury, Kelly Pekar & Diane Hamic (Mike) both of Angleton. Sisters; Helen Schovajsa & Bernice Herzog.
